Teen Attention Deficit Disorder

September 03, 2013

A thirteen year old boy, currently working on his fifth ADHD medication, now at maximum dose, begins Neurofeedback treatment. Grades are poor, math especially, and there are behavior challenges in school. Over the course of Neurofeedback treatment, he is able to wean off the medication, perform much better in school (raising his math scores by over 20 points), and is better adjusted to his classroom routine. Homework gets done and he is more confident in his daily life. His parents are very pleased.
